NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE INTENT OF THE VILLAGE OF
BROADVIEW, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, TO ISSUE GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS
IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,050,000
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Broadview, Cook County, Illinois (the “Village”), will hold a public hearing on
the 19th day of October, 2020, at 7:00 P.M. The hearing will be held at the Council Chamber,
2350 South 25th Avenue, Broadview, Illinois 60155. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive
public comments on the proposal to sell one or more series of general obligation bonds of the
Village in an amount not to exceed $1,050,000 for the purpose of (i) providing funds to pay debt
service on the Village’s General Obligation Capital Appreciation Bonds (Alternate Revenue
Source), Series 2003A and the Village’s General Obligation Refunding Bonds (Alternate Revenue
Source), Series 2015A, (ii) finance capital projects of the Village, including acquisition and
maintenance of vehicles, equipment, street improvements and building improvements, (iii) paying
the costs of issuing the bonds, and (iv) any other purposes permitted by law.
