The Ike 911 Center is the heart of our communications section. Telecommunicators are the first true responders, we are the first voice you will hear when you have an emergency. We recognize the importance of our role in the response system and strive to keep our citizens and first responders free from danger.

When a 911 call is received, the caller’s location appears on our monitor. This is critical for your safety in situations where you may not be able to speak into the phone. Using our computer aided dispatch (CAD) system, IKE Telecommunicators can access information in its database to retrieve information from prior events and disseminate to responding officers if necessary.

We realize that in an emergency, you expect the person who answers the phone to be highly trained, professional and courteous. Skilled Telecommunicators are always ready to assess your unique situation and dispatch the needed resources.
